According to the dictionary, Utopia is a place where everything is just perfect, a dreamland. It is also the name of a prestigious bungalow complex that is being built in the Southern Turkish seaside resort of Alanya. Its aim is to set up a perfectly organised sophisticated residential community.
The Utopia plot is an almond shaped mound that extend over 2 hectares and is situated at 50 metres above sea level. This location offers a panoramic view over everything that Alanya has to offer: the sea, montains, the peninsula with the citadel and the town itself with its spectacular night-time illuminations.
The bungalow complex consists of 170 residential units of varying proportions and sizes. Tennis courts, open-air, and indoor, swimming pools, a restaurant, a fitness centre, a beauty salong, Turkish bath, sauna facilities and massage parlours will be available. The use of the pools and tennis courts will be free of charge to Utopia residents for which costs are to be recovered by a service charge contribution from the bungalow owners.
The sea and the center of Alanya are within ten minutes’ walking distance (about 1 kilometre). The bungalow complex is olso served by the Utopia shuttle bus which runs at set times. Less than 200 metres from Utopia there is large indoor shopping centre where one can browse, have lunch and a good time out. It is even larger than ‘ Metro’, Alanya’s major department store which
is at 300 metres’ walk away as well are the public sports grounds. |
